The Centre for Distance Education strives for the realisation of a “Knowledge Society” through seamless access to sustainable and ‘learner-centric’ quality education by removing the restrictions of time and location for pursuing educational programmes of learners’ choice, irrespective of gender, geographical boundaries and working status.

Mission:

The mission of the Centre is to provide quality education at affordable cost to larger sections of population by facilitating the reach of education to the doorsteps of people living in remote and far-flung areas.
