- Age Proof is required for all admissions and the following are considered in the order of priority:
- SSC / 10th Class
- Birth Certificate Issued by Panchayat Office or competent authorities
- Affidavit certificate by Notary or any other undertaking is NOT ACCEPTED as evidence of Date of Birth.
- A pass in 10+2 or equivalent is eligible for admission into UG courses.

- How do I get exemption from the Entrance test for the MBA and MCA courses?
MBA
Exemption from Entrance Test:
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and having 10 years of work experience after bachelors Degree are exempted from entrance test.
- Candidates possessing Qualifications such as M.Com / M.H.R.M / M.FT / MFM /MMM /CA / ICWA /ACS / MBBS / BL / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy / B. Sc Agriculture with 2 years of Work Experience after obtaining the respective PG or Professional Degree are exempted from entrance test .
- Candidates possessing any Bachelor’s Degree( Other than BFA and BOL) with minimum of 2 years of work experience and are qualified in ICET during the last 3 years period or qualified in Management Aptitude test conducted by AIMA and National bodies are exempted from entrance test.
- Candidates, who have already qualified in Entrance Tests conducted by CDE, ANU previously are exempted from Entrance Test.

MCA - Exemption from Entrance Test:
- Candidates with a rank in ICET during the last three years period are exempted from Entrance Test.
- Candidates, who have already qualified in Entrance Tests conducted by CDE, ANU previously are exempted from Entrance Test.
- When will the Entrance test be held?
- The Entrance Test will be held in the month of February for the calendar Batch and August for Academic batch. The scheduled date shall be notified to students via ANU, CDE website.
- What is the duration of the Entrance Test?
- For UG Course the Entrance Test shall be for 2 hours and for PG Course the Entrance test shall be for 2 1/2 hours duration
- What is the marks for the Entrance test and the passing criteria?
For UG Course the Entrance Test shall be for 100 marks and 35 marks shall be passing marks and for PG Course the Entrance test shall be for 200 marks and the passing marks are 70.
- What is the pattern of the Entrance Test?
The Entrance Test shall include questions based on analytical ability, arithmetical ability, functional grammar and computer terminology. There shall be no negative marks.
- What type of questions shall be asked in the Entrance Test?
The Entrance Test for the PG Courses shall include all Multiple-Choice Questions and the UG Courses shall include Multiple Choice Questions and descriptive questions.
- How do you apply for the Entrance Test?
The application should be submitted through online. It is available in website www.anucde.info
- What is the fees of Entrance Test and how do I pay the fees?
The fees for entrance test are:
- UG Courses – Rs 200
- PG Courses – Rs 550
The student can pay the fees through online along with submission of online application.
- Should original documents be scanned and uploaded for online form?
Yes. Originals should not be sent by post. However, verification of original certificates before the completion of the course is compulsory either at ANU office or at ANU spot certificate verification centers.
- How many photocopies of the documents should be submitted to University?
One set of Photocopies of the documents along with hard copy of online submitted application. Please send it through Post only.

- Does the document have to be attested? By whom?
Photocopies must be attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- Are there any document Genuinety verification charges?
The student will have to pay document verification fee, only if the student has done his/her qualifying education through a college or university outside Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. Each college or university will have their own document verification charge, so the student will have to call their previous college or University and check how much they charge for document verification and then take a DD for the same amount, made payable to their previous college or University. The student will have to courier the DD along with the attested documents to CDE, ANU. ANU will be using the same DD for paying the university at the time of document verification.
- Will the examinations be conducted online?
No, the exams will be conducted at designated Test Centres.
- What is the break up (if any) between term end exams and assignments?
- Every Course has been given specific break up of awarding marks for assignments and Semester end/Year end Examinations as mentioned in the Course Structure given for each Course.
- 30 marks for Assignments and 70 marks for term end exam for each paper.
- Will the students have Theory and Lab/Practical classes?
Yes. Theory and Lab/Practical classes are a part of the curriculum.
- How frequently will exams be conducted? Is there any fixed dates?
- Examinations will be conducted once in a year tentatively from 20th May for Academic year batch and December 5th for Calendar year batch.
- How long does it take for marks memos to be printed?
One month after declaration of Examination result.
- What is the procedure for course change? Within how many days of original
registration, can the student change? If yes, what is the fee applicable?
- Normally Course change is not permitted.
- However, if the Candidate desires to change, he/she has to apply in written within 15 days of provisional admission.
- Course Change Fee is Rs. 500/-.
- Which document will be the basis for the name of the candidate?
- Name as printed in SSC or 10th. In case of non availability of 10th or SSC, Date of Birth Certificate issued by Panchayat office or competent authority.
For female candidates (married), what are the extra documents required for the name?
- Usually, whatever name is appearing in the Age Proof / SSC / 10th / Certificate issued by competent Authority will be considered for Course admitted.
- However, if a female (married) wants to change the surname, she has to submit the original Gazette Notification of the Name change. She has to upload in the website and also submit attested Xerox copy.
- Even any candidate irrespective of the gender, who wishes to have a name change, has to submit the appropriate Gazette Notification.
Fee: University shall decide on Fee from time to time.
